I have developed a particular interest in integrating devised, physical and verbatim theatre.

Over the years I have saught out and worked with a number of specialists e.g.

I was a pupil of Micheal McCallion (The Voice Book) in London from 1984 to '86. Michael integrates the Alexander Technique into his voice work.

For the production of Cracked in 2000 we worked with the Pina Bauch dancer and choreographer, Finola Cronin, and with Paul Allian of the Gardzienice Theatre Association in Poland.

I observed and worked with Lars Oyno of Grusomhetens Theatre in Oslo. Lars is an Artaud theatre specialist and I brought him to Ireland to work with my company for 3 weeks on the research and development stage for Leaving in 2002.

Oyvind Jorgensen is a choreographer and dancer who bases his work on Butoh related techniques. I observed his work in Norway and invited him to join Quare Hawks for 3 weeks in 2003 on the development of The Dream of a Summer Day.
