Acting Experience


Liam trained at the Stanislavski Studio at the Focus Theatre in Dublin under Deirdre O’Connell and Mary Elizabeth Burke Kennedy from 1976 to 1980. His many roles there include Oswald in Ibsen's Ghosts, Earnest in D.H. Lawrence's A Collier’s Friday Night and The White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland adapted by Mary Elizabeth Burke Kennedy.

Liam won the Most Promising Young Actor Award in 1979 for his work in the Focus Theatre.

He went on to work at the Abbey Theatre and at the Lyric Theatre Belfast. He moved to the UK in 1984 where he worked extensively as a freelance actor on stage, T.V, Film and Radio.
